My colors are soft and my subjects can be bold and meaningful statements of self."
I was very happy to be part of the 1st Cape Cod Arts and Scallop Fest. To all who were part of the event. Great Job! Although the rain was the Biggest attraction. It did not dampen our spirits. To all who did not make it. I hope to see you next year.
Kat has been artistic since childhood. She created early works in watercolor, capturing airy brush strokes and vibrant colors of flowers, landscapes and seascapes. Her mother and grandmother encouraged her, as did teachers from K-12, to pursue a Visual Arts career. Attending classes at Massachusetts College of Art, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and Bridgewater State University - she graduated Manga Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art. She loves expansive ocean and beachs and lives on Cape Cod. "Enchanting and magical as I find the Cape, I also have strong feelings for the majesty and big sky of Arizona and enjoy creating work inspired from there as well.
